The United States Federal Reserve System

The US Federal Reserve System, commonly referred to as simply, “The Fed”, is the central bank of the United States. It was founded with the stated intent of “…providing the nation with a safer, more flexible, and more stable monetary and financial system.” (From an “Overview of the Federal Reserve System”, http://www.federalreserve.gov/pf/pdf/pf_1.pdf )

What most people don’t realize however, is that The Fed is neither Federal, nor is it’s primary mandate the betterment of the average citizen, regardless of what’s advertised in Federal Reserve information packets.

The following resources help to unmask The Fed and shed light on why it was created, what it’s real purpose is, and why that purpose is contrary to the good of the people, not only in the US, but around the world.
