Wealth Intelligence Community

Since 2006 I’ve been working to increase my knowledge in the areas of finance and wealth. I have to admit, it was never a topic that I took very seriously before then.

Like many, I was raised with a limited understanding of money and finances. My dad was a civil servant, who’s financial plan was to keep his government job, live a modest life and then retire on a government pension and the little he could put away in savings. My mother was a home maker, with a few work-at-home projects to raise some of her own money and help make ends meet.

I never considered us to be “poor” when I was growing up, but neither did I consider us to be “rich”.  We were firmly planted in the “middle class”, although I’m pretty sure that I never heard the term until much later in my life.

I started working right out of high school, getting a job as a programmer for the first microcomputer retailer in western Canada. As my career progressed, I got involved in technical instruction, teaching programming and data networking and, in 2005, I took that skill-set and started my own courseware development and delivery company.

When I started my company, I decided that I didn’t want the hassle of employees, which is fine until you realize that running a one-man-show means if you don’t work, you don’t eat! When this realization sank in, I decided to start looking for alternate means of creating an income that didn’t rely on me, personally, generating every dollar of cash flow, but I still didn’t want a bunch of employees to worry about either.

I started doing some online research to see if I could find a business model that matched these criteria and discovered network marketing. I could put together a team of people to distribute a product or service, train them (which I knew I could do) and collect residual income from their efforts. Perfect!

The next step was to find a company to get involved with. Little did I know at the time, but my choice would forever change the way I viewed the world of finance, money and wealth and reveal to me a world that I had no idea existed.

The organization I chose to join is described as a “lifestyle design” company and specializes in teaching people how to live a lifestyle that’s tailored to their individual desires. In effect, how to create and live your “dream” lifestyle.

One of the primary focuses of the organization is on “wealth” training, which really involves teaching you how money and the world of finances work, and what you need to know and do in order to be able to financially support your ideal lifestyle.

Now, let me make clear that this is not a clever (or not so clever) pitch for my organization. That’s not my intent and you won’t see anything further about it beyond this introduction. I mention it solely to explain where my interest in wealth creation, finances and the world of money came from, and where my understanding of these subjects began to take shape.

What I’ve learned from this organization has effected me deeply.

It was these revelations that prompted me to focus my attentions on a field of study that, since 2006, has caused my jaw to drop to the floor many, many times and still, to this day, astounds me.  They say that truth is stranger than fiction and I now believe that completely. What I’ve discovered over the past four plus years could have made me rich had I turned it into a novel, and if not for the fact that it’s all TRUE!

What I’m going to share with you in these posts is a result of the learning that I’ve done and comes from sources that you, yourself, can get access to and use to verify everything for yourself.

This isn’t a work of fiction, it’s the truth, and the implications of choosing to ignore what you’ll discover here may mean all the difference in your future financial well-being.

As Morpheus’ line in the movie, “The Matrix”, reads, “All I’m offering is the truth, nothing more.”

I’m not here to advise you, but to inform you of what I’ve learned and what I believe that it means. What you do with this knowledge is up to you, but I feel compelled to share it with you because I truly believe that without it, many of the people I care about will be at risk, and I don’t want to see that happen.

Over the next few days, weeks, months and for however long it remains relevant, I’ll be sharing what I have learned and am still learning and I invite you to participate in what I’m referring to as a Wealth Intelligence Community.

It’s my hope that this community will be of benefit to all who choose to join and watch, listen and even participate.

If this is something that interests you, I’d appreciate hearing your feedback, which you can leave as comments here. I’d also invite you to share this with your own friends and family as the risk ahead isn’t limited to just us alone.

Thanks for your time in reading this and, please, leave your comments and be on the lookout for more posts here shortly.

Take care.
